Eight positions are offered in each of the three years of the adult neurology residency program, and two positions in pediatric neurology are available each year.
Residents may enter the adult neurology program after completing at least one year in an approved internal medicine preliminary program or a transitional program with at least eight months of internal medicine. For applicants who have matched with the Northwestern neurology program, we are able to offer six spots in the preliminary medicine program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. A separate interview for the preliminary position is not required, but applicants should apply through NRMP. The Neurology program code is 2247180A0. The Med/Prelim Neurology code is 2247140P1.
