Neuro-Oncology Education
The Division of Neuro-Oncology offers one to two annual medical care provider-focused academic events through the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center. We also offer patient and caregiver events through the Cancer Center.
Medical Education
Our educational program offers medical students, residents and fellows opportunities to either work with clinical faculty on projects related to primary or secondary brain tumors or embed with laboratory scientists on basic/translational research.
Our Neuro-Oncology Fellowship, led by Priya Kumthekar, MD, is a one- or two-year, UCNS-accredited program for trainees who are interested in subspecialized training in neuro-oncology and aim to cultivate rewarding careers in academic neurology. This is a clinical program with substantial clinical trial exposure and opportunities for translational/laboratory research. Learn more about the Neuro-Oncology Fellowship Program.
