Clinical Opportunities

We have an ACGME-approved Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship Program with two spots available for neuromuscular training. Fellows are exposed to a wide array of inpatient and outpatient neuromuscular disorders by rotating through the multidisciplinary ALS and MDA clinics, the neuropathy clinic and during inpatient consults. Highlights of the fellowship program include training in electrodiagnostic studies, muscle and nerve pathology, neuromuscular ultrasound and autonomic testing. There are also numerous opportunities to participate in clinical research as well as a potential for a second research year.

Research Opportunities

Opportunities are available for Northwestern undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate training in the neurogenetics research lab, directed by Teepu Siddique, MD.
